I’ve had an interest in all things aviation for as long as I can remember and I guess I have my dad to thank for that! My earliest memory of an airshow is being stuck in a queue of traffic at a show at RAF St. Mawgan in Cornwall in what would have been the very early 1980’s – in pouring rain! We always visited airshows at Mildenhall and Fairford on alternate years and from 1993, the International Air Tattoo became a permanent fixture on our calendars. And yes, I was there for that MiG crash!
I combine my interest in aviation with photography and writing, producing articles, stories and interviews for several aviation magazines. In 2017 I joined the staff team at UK Airshow Review, the UK‘s leading online aviation magazine and community. Our team write and report on events across the airshow and aviation world, gaining unrivalled access and providing balanced and unbiased reviews. You can read our reviews and participate in our lively forums at www.airshows.co.uk
Since 2019 I’ve worked exclusively with the media team at the RAF Cosford Air Show, providing air-to-air imagery for promotional use – not for the faint-hearted!
